About the Association

Incorporated in 1952, the association has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the high level of professionalism found in the industry in Australia.

Corporation membership is represented by the leading Auction and Valuation companies throughout Australia.

Employed members are drawn from leading Auction and Valuation houses.

Sole Trader members represent a significant portion of the Association's membership.

All categories must be practising Auctioneers and/or Valuers, with Auctioneers required to meet a statutory level of experience.

We place great importance in ensuring that our members provide the highest levels of professionalism in their dealings with clients and the public. In order to achieve this we are actively involved in the continuing education of our members.

Any member who breaches the Association's code of ethics is liable to disciplinary action by the Association.
