The AVAA has launched a three-month trial membership to encourage industry members to take the step to become Certified Valuers and Auctioneers.

With a huge focus on the growth of the association, and in turn, the understanding of the need to use a Certified Valuer or Auctioneer the AVAA invites anyone working in the industry to activate the trial membership to gain insight into what being a member entails.

Unlike the Property Industry, the valuation and auction of Goods, Chattels, Plant & Equipment in Australia is largely unregulated therefore no official licence is required. (find out more)

For that reason, the AVAA was established with the objective to secure and elevate the standard of the professions of Auctioneers and Valuers in this industry. To become a Certified Member of the AVAA, Auctioneers and Valuers are required to demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience and adhere to the Association’s professional and ethical standards.

The AVAA has various membership categories to cater for the diverse skills and needs of our members, including corporate, valuer, auctioneer, valuer & auctioneer and associate.

For members who sign up for the trial membership and then go on to become certified members, we will waive the AVAA Membership Application Fee.  Those who wish to become a Member must meet the requirements of membership which can be found here.

Trial members also receive a 25% discount off AVAA Training and Education courses.
