2025 AVAA Annual Report
.
The Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA) annual report highlights a year shaped and driven by the contributions of our members. Every initiative, program, and advocacy effort was informed by the insights and experiences of those working across auctioneering and valuation. AVAA’s member-centric approach ensured that the Association remained focused on what matters most, this being practical support, professional recognition, and long-term growth for the sector.
Central to this year’s report is the endorsement of the 2025–2030 AVAA Strategic Plan, a blueprint built on four pillars of education, advocacy, ethics and professional standards, and member value and engagement. These priorities will guide our work over the coming years, ensuring that AVAA continues to represent its members with authority and integrity. The report also highlights important milestones, including the launch of the Online Auction Compliance Program, new professional courses designed to strengthen skills and credibility, and enhanced recognition through the introduction of the AVAA Fellow credential.
The 2025 AVAA Annual Report is both a reflection of what has been achieved and an invitation to be part of what comes next. Members are encouraged to download the full report to see how their voice has influenced outcomes, while non-members are invited to explore the benefits of joining a community that represents the highest standards of professionalism in the industry.
In the report you’ll see that with AVAA aligning with international standards through our role in the International Valuation Standards Council (IVS) and the planned investing in modern digital systems, AVAA is working to raise the benchmark for professionalism while making it easier for members to engage with us. Each achievement reflects the collective commitment of members, whose expertise and input helped shape training, compliance tools, and policy positions that build confidence in the profession among clients, regulators, and the wider community.
