Discover the foundations of auctioneering by exploring its history, the various types of auctions, and licensing requirements. This module provides essential context to understand how auctions operate within today’s professional, regulatory, and commercial environment.

Module 2:  Pre-Auction Period —

Success at auction begins long before the first bid. This module examines preparation, planning, cataloguing, marketing, and inspection processes, giving students a strong understanding of the organisational, procedural, and professional responsibilities underpinning auction transparency and effectiveness.

Module 3:  Auction Period —

During the live auction, multiple elements must align seamlessly. This module covers floor management, auctioneer processes, and support administration, demonstrating the coordination, professionalism, and confidence required to maintain order and deliver successful auction outcomes.

Module 4 :  Post-Auction Period —

After the final hammer falls, essential responsibilities continue. This module explores collection and delivery of goods, along with remittance of funds, highlighting accuracy, accountability, and efficiency as critical in sustaining client trust and professional reputation.

By the end of the program, students gain a strong introductory understanding of auctioneering principles, industry terminology, and the profession’s overall framework.
