The Auctioneers & Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and managing personal information in a responsible and transparent manner. This AVAA Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Access & Correction —
Individuals may request access to personal information held by AVAA and request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Requests should be made in writing and AVAA will respond within a reasonable period.
Retention Of Personal Information —
AVAA retains personal information only for as long as it is required to fulfil its functions, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law. When personal information is no longer required, AVAA takes reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.
